We are delighted to offer the following three activities so you can take advantage of the vibrant city of New Orleans through art, architecture, and, of course, food. Space is limited, so we encourage you to register as soon as the portal goes live.
Notable Women of the French Quarter
Walk through the historic French Quarter and discover the remarkable women whose lives, work, and determination helped shape New Orleans. Learn about Henriette DeLille, the Free Women of Color who built businesses and communities, and Rose Nicaud, whose journey from enslavement to successful coffee entrepreneur is a remarkable story. Explore the legacy of the Ursuline Nuns, whose education and service influenced generations of women. These are just a few of the fascinating women you’ll encounter as we explore the French Quarter and uncover the stories of the women who helped shape the city’s history, culture, and character. Offered by the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans.

Garden District and Lafayette Cemetery #1 via St. Charles Streetcar
There’s no better way to see this side of New Orleans than from the window of the St. Charles streetcar. As the historic line rolls beneath towering live oaks and past grand old homes, we’ll make our way into the Garden District for a closer look at the neighborhood’s architecture, history, and the people who called it home. We’ll also visit Lafayette Cemetery No. 1, one of the city’s best-known historic cemeteries, recently reopened after a seven-year closure. Come along for a journey through grand avenues, hidden stories, historic homes, and one of New Orleans’ most fascinating neighborhoods. Offered by the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans.

Participation fee: $50 pp (includes streetcar ticket).
Private Cooking Class at New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute (NOCHI)
Work alongside one of NOCHI's professional chefs to prepare a New Orleans classic entrée and side dish, then sit back and enjoy a chef-crafted dessert to complete the experience. The fee includes:
