OUR LEADERS

Jen Evers

Executive Director

Jen spent nine years of her decades-long career in education as the Director of Strategic Initiatives & Professional Development at the International Coalition of Girls’ Schools before joining The Heads Network. In that role, she was responsible for implementing all professional development programs as well as identifying, cultivating, and sustaining strategic partnerships and sponsorships that benefited member schools. Prior to joining ICGS, Jen taught middle and upper school Mandarin Chinese at the Latin School of Chicago and held a variety of roles in admissions, development, and residential life at independent schools around the United States. She is committed to supporting and advancing women leaders in education through meaningful collaboration and relevant, inclusive programming.

Jen earned her B.A. in Asian Studies and Religion from Dartmouth College and an M.A. in East Asian Studies from Stanford University. She is a proud member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Global Learning (previously GEBG). Jen and her three teenagers - all of whom attend independent boarding schools - live near Chicago, Illinois, and are avid Cubs fans. When not shuttling her children to various activities, Jen enjoys reading, exercising, being outdoors, and listening to music.
